Qu’est-ce que c’est?
Solo Exhibition by Kevin O’Malley
Friday April 22nd 6-9PM
Non-Fiction Gallery is pleased to announce Qu’est-ce que c’est?, a solo exhibition by Kevin O’Malley taking place Friday April 22nd through Monday April 25th, 2016. The opening reception will take place on Friday, April 22nd from 6pm-9pm with an artist talk at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public.
The paintings in this thesis show explore the balance between abstract form and elusive content. The telescopic as well as the microscopic view of the world is the space through which O’Malley paints the natural metamorphosis of organisms, nature, and the universe. They are in a constant state of emergence and evolution.
Most importantly this event is a celebration for everyone O’Malley has met at SCAD over the years.
“I had the best Professors and classmates on Earth. These years here were by far the best in my life” -Kevin O’Malley
